meet sarah
Hi! I'm Sarah Gajewski, owner and licensed esthetician at Emerald & Ivy.
I've been a licensed cosmetologist for over 10 years. I spent the first seven of those years working with hair before I found my real passion, skin, in 2019. Something clicked, and I haven't looked back.
I grew up right here in Gillette. I know this town, I know this climate, and I know what Wyoming weather does to your skin over time. That's not something you can learn from a textbook, it's something you live.
My education started in Buffalo, NY at The Salon Professional Academy, where I got my cosmetology license in 2014. I also hold an Associates Degree in Photography from Villa Maria; which, honestly, taught me more about seeing people than I expected. I moved back to Gillette at the end of 2016, and opening Emerald & Ivy has been one of the best decisions I've ever made.
When I'm not in the treatment room, I'm at home with my husband, daughter, and our three dogs; probably planning a hiking trip or a dinner night with friends.
I started this place because I wanted every client to feel the way I wish I'd felt sitting in other treatment rooms: heard, taken care of, and genuinely excited about their skin.
That's still the goal, every single appointment.✦

Before we touch your skin, we talk. We want to know your history, your goals, what's frustrated you before, and what you're hoping for. Then we build your treatment around that conversation.
You'll leave with a plan that's yours. Product recommendations, next steps, and a clear picture of where your skin is headed.
